Production Engineer

Position – Machine Shop Production Engineer
Location – Sheffield
Hours – Days
Salary – £27,600 – £28,800Depending on experience

Our Client based in Sheffield is responsible for the processing of material for the oil and gas industry. Due to growth within their machine shop our client is currently looking to recruit a permanent Machine Shop production engineer
The main purpose of the role is to create all relevant paperwork and engineering drawings needed to process machine components to the required standard.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Liaise with the Machine Shop Manager and Sub-Contract Manager with regards to any queries regarding the works order.
* Process job instructions and engineering drawings for all orders.
* Maintain up to date schedule of all orders being processed by the engineering department.
* Covering other key job roles within the engineering department in case of absence etc.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Previous experience of working in an engineering department preferred
* Some background of manufacturing process
* High level of attention to details
* Planning and organisational skills
* Communication skill
* Diagnostic skills
* Flexibility
