UCL Estates is responsible for managing the delivery of an Estate Strategy with a capital investment programme in excess of £1bn over the next ten years.
UCL Estates offers multifarious services and delivered by functions including Estates Strategy & Programme Delivery, Property and Accommodation Management, Sustainability and Facilities & Infrastructure and across a vast and diverse estate. Due to the scale and variety of activities delivered by the Division the function of the Portfolio Services Office is essential to ensure effective programme management, governance assurance and performance reporting of projects and services.
The PSO Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of projects within the Estates portfolio through effective assurance, tracking and reporting. The post holder will champion best practice in project management across the Estates teams including skills development. Main responsibility includes undertaking assurance of UCL Estates projects through review, challenge and support, working with project managers to review project plans, finance, assistance with risks and issues workshops and update of registers, review of stage gate documentation, review of governance arrangements.
The successful candidate will possess proven PMO/Project Analyst or Coordinator experience in addition to practical experience of project management.
Understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project/programme management including robust assurance will be essential. This post will suit professionals who are adept at succeeding in highly collegiate and collaborative environments. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent experience with a qualification in PPM, APMP, PRINCE2 etc. or other recognised project management methodologies.
