Parts Person

Salary: £26,000 – £27,261 per year

Parts Person – Peterborough – 18,000 / 20,000

ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit a Parts Person with immediate effect for our industry leading client based in Peterborough.

Duties;

Receiving, Picking, Packing and dispatching orders

Invoicing for spare parts, Raising Quotes on Sage

Problem solving where customers can’t identify the part they need, confidence to read a parts manual and get to the answer with the customer

Ordering spares form suppliers. Liaising with suppliers for delivery dates and lead times

Conveying information back to customers and keep them updated along the way

Stock control, Stock Take, Invoicing from engineers’ worksheets

Stock transfers between workshop and van stock, Collating rental paperwork

Raising rental agreements, Raising invoices for rentals installation and delivery

Raising monthly rental invoices in accordance with agreement

Organising machinery transport – Sale/rental/exhibitions

Machinery invoicing against contract

Working with engineers when passing calls through

Work log to be kept up to date

This role will suit somebody who is very organised and has a background working in parts / stores.
