Salary: £26,000 per year
A Stores Person is required for an on-going contract within a successful engineering company in Huntingdon
The successful Stores Person will assist with the checking and organisation of goods in/out, stock checking, kit picking and maintaining stock levels.
Stores Person Requirements:
• At least 2 years’ experience within a warehouse and goods in/out environment
• Experience of picking kit for dispatch, and boxing orders up ready for collection
• Experience of stock control and stocktaking
• Good understanding of Manual Handling and other health & safety regulations
• A Counter Balance Licence is desirable but not essential
Stores Person Responsibilities:
• Check goods in and out of the warehouse using in-house systems and manual files
• Ensure all stock is rotated accordingly.
• Adhere to all relevant health & safety regulations – Manual Handling etc.
• Report any faults or issues to the relevant line manager as soon as possible
