Operations Manager

Salary: £84,000 – £96,000 per year

My client is a leading manufacturer in its sector and is looking to recruit an Operations Manager to join their successful and established team. 

Responsibilities of the Operations Manager will include;

• Full site responsibility for all operations and production on site
• Overseeing Engineering, Design, Quality, Health and Safety and Supply Chain 
• Experience of championing and implementing an ERP system 
• Continuous improvement activities on site – 5S or Kaizen 
• Motivating a strong team and constantly striving for improvements 
• Setting KPI’s and exceeding company targets 
• Managing the growth and success of the team 

The ideal candidate will have;

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Time served within a manufacturing company, process and target driven 
• The ability to motivate and develop a team 
• Experience of an ERP system within its infancy and implementing it into the business for site improvements and areas for development
• Strong leadership skills and an excellent communicator 
• Experience of working with lean manufacturing techniques and training within the business
• An Engineering or manufacturing qualification
