Operations Manager

OPERATIONS MANAGER – KENT – c£60,000 – £65,000pa

A highly regulated manufacturing organisation are looking for a permanent Operations Manager at their production plant in Kent.

Reporting to the Site Director the core function of the role will be to manage a safety focused production plant, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining strict compliance with all regulatory imperatives.

Other duties involve ensuring the plant activity is compliant with all regulatory imperatives including:

>Safety
>HR Management
>GMP & Regulatory
>Environment
>Financial

In order to be considered for this position candidates must have a strong managerial background and have extensive experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment e.g. Food, Pharmaceutical, FMCG, Chemical, Cosmetics etc. Candidates must be able to drive change and performance of the factory. A people person with a focus on making OEE improvements, using a variety of Continuous Improvement methods (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma etc.).

The role is based in Kent and is commutable from Gillingham, Dartford, Maidstone, Sittingbourne, Ashford, Canterbury, Essex, Royal Tunbridge Wells and other areas across Kent, London and the South East.
