Operations Manager

Salary: £48,000 per year

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Operations Manager. Our client is one of the world’s leading language solutions companies providing interpretation, translation, and localisation services worldwide for more than 20 years. This position is vital to the success of the operation teams. You will have overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the Operations team, both in the office and remotely, ensuring there is adequate service provision in line with client service level agreements. You will also oversee the analytical and recruitment teams. My client is looking for someone who has held a role within management and operations for 2+ years.

Key Responsibilities

* Overall responsibility of delivery and development of Interpreter training and testing and continuously assessing training offering against industry requirements

* Liaising with stakeholders ensuring any process issues affecting time to hire are resolved efficiently

* Overall responsibility for delivery of operations team

* Key Performance Indicators in line with client service level agreements

* Take personal responsibility for ensuring that personal information is used fairly and lawfully within GDPR guidelines

* Report any personal data security incidents immediately and abide by the Information Security Policy detailed in the Staff Handbook

Person Specification

* Experience working within the language/interpretation sector is preferred but not essential

* Strong oral and written communication skills

* Ability to support and influence all stakeholders, including Directors across the business

* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

* Management of a team, through enabling, motivation and constant development

* Ability to problem solve and work well under pressure whilst remaining calm

Salary starting at £48,000+ excellent benefits
