We are working with an education provider in the in the Greater Manchester area who are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Trainer/Assessor to join their team.

The position is a permanent full-time role, comprising of 37 hours per week, and would involve training apprentices on their machining and fitting skills in their training centre, and also travelling out to companies in the local area to assess learners on their vocational skills. Most of the delivery would be to level 2 learners, with a little bit of level 3 delivery.

The starting salary for this position is between £36,000 and £35,000 per annum, which would also include a workplace pension, free parking, life insurance, a business mileage allowance of 45p per mile, and 26 days paid holiday (plus statutory holidays such as Bank Holidays).

To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-A level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification
-Industry experience of machining
-An assessor award
