Job Title: Financial Services Assessor / Trainer (Trainee and Qualified opportunities)

Starting salary: £30,000(Trainee) and £26,000 (Qualified)
+ Pension, 40p per mile, Mobile, Laptop, Printer, 25 days + BH`s.

Location: Coventry / Warwickshire (must flexible with travel)

KM Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of one of the UK`s leading training providers, operating nationally within the WBL sector.

Our client is looking to recruit a Financial Services Assessor based in the Coventry/Warwickshire area, to manage a caseload of learners working towards Financial Services qualifications.

*Unqualified candidates must hold the Cii as a minimum and ideally IF1 Certificates – all candidates must have occupational competence in General Insurance and have exposure to staff training and development*

Trainee Opportunity:

– This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Services professional who holds the CII award already, who has a genuine passion and interest in helping others achieve.
– Full training and support is provided to gain the Assessor award CAVA / TAQA.
– Full time/permanent employment from day one
– Please research the role of an Assessor in full (all elements including Functional Skills Maths and English) before applying, in order for you to confirm if the role is right for you.

Duties:

– Delivering full Apprenticeship frameworks in Providing Financial Services (General Insurance pathway), including Functional Skills (Maths / English) to level 2.
– Visiting/observing learners in their place of work to gather evidence towards their Apprenticeship/QCF qualification.
– Based from home, managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
– Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
– Support, advise and motivate learners.
– Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner`s needs.

Essential Criteria:

– CII – Certificate in Insurance
– Must hold a minimum of 5 years` experience within Financial Services (General Insurance), ideally within a management or supervisory role.
– Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
– Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
– Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
– Flexible with travel
