Mechanical Design Draughtsman

£20,000 – £25,000 + Pension + Benefits

Based in South Yorkshire – Commutable from Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley, Wakefield, Chesterfield and Worksop

The Company:
My client is a leading manufacture and designer of special purpose machinery for the heavy engineering sector. They want to add an additional member to a highly skilled team of design engineers.

Role Description:
This position will be a key part of the design and project team. You will be working on a mixture of new and existing projects working from design and detailing through to handover to the on-site manufacturing team.

There is a really good opportunity for the role to progress in to a Project position longer term, and with a great order book spanning the next few years there are superb opportunities for a long term career.

Required experience:
My client is looking for a talented 3D design engineer or draughtsman, ideally with experience of Autodesk Inventor. However if you are an experienced design engineer with experience in another 3D package then my client could train on this.

• You must be mechanically qualified
• Have some hands on experience of 3D design
