Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year
Marketing Manager required by leading national financial services retailer with over 150 branches across the UK. To date they have an enviable track record of profit and growth and are looking to maximise this with ongoing growth in 2016 and beyond.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the marketing strategy/ plan. Evaluating customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implementing marketing plan alterations as required.
Oversee all marketing and advertising activities whilst leading and developing the Marketing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Direct, lead & coach the Marketing Department to ensure that they are appropriately motivated, trained and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards. Direct line management of the team including PDPs and appraisals.
– Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products to meet company objectives.
– Drive customer acquisition through a test and learn mentality to meet targets.
– Deliver all agreed marketing activity within the agreed budget and acquisition costs.
– Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results driving improved ROI.
– Manage all aspects of POS development ensuring they follow brand guidelines and FCA regulatory requirements.
– Conduct customer and market research in order to identify market requirements for current and future products.
– Monitor competitor behaviour, report changes and adjust plans as appropriate.
– Keep up with best industry practise.
– Manage and maintain the relationship with the company`s PR agency.
– Analyse potential strategic partner relationships for lead acquisition and product development.
You will ideally be from within financial services and/or retail industry with strong team leading, mentoring and coaching experience. In addition:
– Success experience of developing, maintaining and delivering on marketing strategies to meet company objectives.
– A proven ability to oversee marketing, advertising and promotional staff, agencies and activities.
– Experience of Digital Marketing including SEO, PPC, CMS.
– Experience with a company in a related sector, ideally credit.
– An analytical, Data-orientated and task driven individual able to manage a large product portfolio
– Project management (Customer profiling, agency management).
– Strong numerical and reporting skills.
