Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer: Our client, a major manufacturer of flow control equipment, seek to appoint a Manufacturing Engineer to identify and implement improvements to the manufacturing and final test process, to implement new products into production, and to provide support to other manufacturing sites. Manufacturing Engineer – Role & Responsibilities
– Design jigs and fixtures to improve production efficiency and increase quality
– Create work instructions for production. Establish standard times and associated monitoring for assembly and test departments. Introduce staff training
– Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) and changes to existing product lines
– Promote and champion a lean culture across the site

Manufacturing Engineer – Skills & Abilities
– HNC as a minimum in mechanical or production engineering or equivalent
– Minimum of two years’ post University experience in a Manufacturing Engineer or Production Engineer position
– CAD experience for jig/fixture design. Experience with Labview advantageous
– Lean training beneficial
