Manufacturing Engineer

Salary: £43,200 per year

Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a manfuacturing organisation in Gateshead with the appointment of a manufacturing engineer. This position is ideal for someone who is a time served maintenance technician and has moved into a process/manufacturing engineer roles.

Responsibilities

* Ensure that production is cost effective through the optimisation of resources – maximise Overall Equipment Effectiveness.

* Implementation of lean tools and techniques

* Root cause analysis

* Identify waste and losses

* Have a hands-on approach to solving technical problems and improving performance

* Develop and implement standard operating procedures

Requirements

* Time served with relevant engineering qualifications

* Progressed from maintenance into a manufacturing engineer role

* Experience in a heavy industry environment

* CI knowledge
