Managing Director, FMCG / Garden Products, Birmingham
QBE Recruitment are pleased to begin the executive search process for a Managing Director for our FMCG / garden products client, a £60 million turnover manufacturer and distributor of a wide product range with instant consumer recognition.
The Managing Director role has arisen following the successful completion of an earn-out period for the previous leadership of the business. The private equity owners of the business now wish to enhance their investment and take the business to the next stage of growth, including e-commerce and direct-to-the-public sales channels, from which they believe the business will benefit significant growth potential.
The incoming Managing Director will also lead a further process of identifying new product opportunities and overseeing R&D.

* Experienced in profit and loss management, either running an SME, a division of a larger group or business management within an entrepreneurial environment.
* Strong business development and account management skills.

* Demonstrable experience of building new markets and channels
