Salary: to £150k basic, plus bonus, benefits, Jaguar Car + possible equity

The Company:
Our client supplies Bentley, Aston Martin, and Jaguar Land Rover, among other automotive OEMs, with high-quality engineered products for the luxury, sports, and performance automotive markets. The company is located near the M40 in the famous “automotive triangle” of Oxfordshire, and benefits from purpose-built and well-invested facilities, a growing order book, and a highly skilled on-site workforce.
We are seeking an experienced Managing Director to assume total profit and loss control of this £30 million automotive sector enterprise following acquisition by a well-known ‘engineering sector specialist’ private equity investment group.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a charismatic and business success-oriented individual to join the company as managing director during a period of expansion and success. The incoming Managing Director will need to be able to manage the business on a daily basis and provide regular updates to the business’s private equity owners.
The Managing Director’s primary objective is to sustain the company’s EBITDA growth so that private equity investors can ultimately increase and realise their substantial investment in the company.

The ideal candidate
The ideal Managing Director will have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business, accounting, engineering, or manufacturing.
The incoming Managing Director will be an experienced business manager with P&L experience and must be able to demonstrate a track record of business development and EBITDA consistency.
Experience in the engineering, manufacturing, or automotive industries would be a plus.
