Chartered Management Surveyor / Portfolio Manager

MRICS Surveyor required.

We are currently representing a privately owned property group, renowned for investing in high profile assets in some of the finest cities in the world. We are proud to be driving the campaign for the latest addition to their team.

My client is seeking to recruit a Management Surveyor (MRICS) with General Practice exposure to assist with the management and profitability of their high profile, predominately commercial portfolio across London. This position offers the chance to oversee an exciting, dynamic portfolio across London and the West End, ensuring the best management of new and existing property.

Your role will be to cooperate with other Management Surveyors, in a customer facing role to ensure the effective running of each entire building within the assigned portfolio. You will also be expected to work closely with the service performance team for maintenance issues and manage the service charge process in its entirety, including budgeting, consultation, communication and monitoring of expenditure & reporting.

Key Duties:
-Day-to-day customer relations within multi-let property.
-Prepare and maintain operational improvement plans for each building
-Service charge budget preparation and management including monitoring spend, arrears and collecting rent arrears
-Property inspections
-Working with Service Performance and Facilities Management teams to ensure planned maintenance takes place, coordinating and suggesting change where necessary.
-Risk management, health and safety and environmental consideration / consultancy.

The successful applicant will ideally be a MRICS, chartered property professional with corporate, commercial experience; ideally within a similar position (ARICS minimum). You will also have thorough knowledge and understanding of the covenants of applicable leases / tenancy agreements and you will have had experience managing a large mixed use portfolio.
