Management Accountant

Salary: £38,400 – £43,200 per year

SF Recruitment are pleased to be working alongside a fast growing SME business in the Walsall area as they look to recruit a Management Accountant. This role is reporting into a supportive Finance Manager and the successful candidate will contribute to the timely production of the monthly management reporting and day to day transactional accounts processing across a variety of areas in the finance function. 

The ideal candidate will be a Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA or ACA Accountant looking to be a part of a business growing rapidly with private equity backing. 

Duties Include:

• Prepare monthly management accounts (incl P&L and Bal Sheet recs)
• Provide analysis of key variances for inclusion in the month end reporting pack (including developing improved financial analysis and control)
• Completion of month-end journals including accruals and prepayments
• Reconcile PO & GRN Accruals at month end and posted associated journals
• Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are completed monthly
• Intercompany reconciliations and recharges
• Invoice Finance Reconciliations on SAP
• Maintain fixed asset register including monthly processes and reconciliation
• Support the Finance Manager with Capex reporting
• VAT Return preparation
• Supporting Finance Manager with ad hoc analysis requests from stakeholders
• Assisting with annual budget setting

Skills and Knowledge:

– Experience in a similar role 
– Strong leadership and communication skills
– Good Excel skills
– Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA
