Management Accountant

Salary: £54,000 – £66,000 per year

We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant for a leading oil & gas services client based in Aberdeen. This will be office based and will be a 40 hour week.Experience in a similar role is essential.

The main purpose of the role is:-

Responsibility for ensuring the comprehensive, accurate, timely recording, collation and preparation, for final approval, of the Management Accounts according to approved company requirements and to comply with all financial, legal and internal company deadlines and requirements. 

Main duties will include but not be limited to:-

Timely and accurate preparation and submission of the Flash reporting. 

Timely and accurate preparation and submission of monthly management accounts, supporting balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analysis.

Review, analysis, interpretation and communication of monthly reporting submissions, including balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and commentary, and participation in monthly review calls. 

Assisting and reviewing in the timely and accurate preparation of quarterly internal Business Review presentations.

Timely and accurate preparation and submission of weekly Accounts Receivable trackers, Capex Tracker, cashflow forecast, including analysis, interpretation and communication 

Assisting in the timely and accurate preparation of annual and quarterly statutory reporting requirements including liaison with the external audit team. 

Assisting in the preparation of tax compliance including liaison with external advisors 

Reviewing process and controls and assisting in accounting systems and process improvements.

The job holder may be required to carry out any other related or associated roles, tasks or duties, which they can be trained, instructed and supervised to do safely and according to changing business requirements.
