Management Accountant

Salary: £48,000 – £60,000 per year

A market leading organisation in Heathrow is seeking a Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. The role will be working closely with and supporting the Head of Finance.

About You

Fully or part qualified CIMA or ACCA Management Accountant with advanced level Excel skills. Candidates will be educated to degree level, individuals educated to A Levels or equivalent standard

when supported by practical accounting experience will also be considered.

You will have a proven track record within a similar role, be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and be able to work on your own as well as part of a small team.

The role will be office based.

About The Role

The role will focus on monthly management accounting tasks.

The main responsibilities of the role are:

• Monthly actuals
• Responsible for closing month end ledgers 
• Variance analysis and reporting
• Managing a small team
• Fixed asset register 
• Annual budget preparation
• Manage cash reporting
• Preparation of financial statements
• Prepare and post journals
• Year-end Audit preparation
• Calculate accruals and prepayments
• Other ad hoc duties as required

• Knowledge of accountancy/purchase ledger
• Strong Excel skills
• Good communication skills (oral and written)
• Strong organisational and administration skills

• Ability to perform tasks and processes independently as well as work as part of the team to develop and improve current practices, responding to business change.
