An excellent opportunity exists for a qualified Management Accountant. The role is well suited to an ambitious individual with excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills. We are seeking candidates with the gravitas and attitude to step up into a finance manager position within 12-18 months.

Key Responsibilities

* Produce accurate and timely reporting for Support / IT Cost Centre’s
* Ensure accurate representation of the P&Ls, post all required ledger entries, along with reconciliations of accruals / pre-payments.
* Review reported performance against flexed targets, and ensure that the key drivers of variances are explained.
* Build and maintain strong professional relationships across the business to influence financial performance and understand business challenges / strategies.
* Produce accurate forecasts of revenue, costs and margin by liaising with & challenging the Sales, Operations and Support teams
* Review forecast against Business Plan and previous forecast targets, and ensure key drivers of variances are explained.
* Deliver monthly scheduled and ad-hoc reporting to tight deadlines.
* Help the Finance team in streamlining existing processes, and designing new reports and processes where necessary. Owning and driving key projects, impacting Finance and the Wider business.
* Drive financial controls and integrity across the team

Skills & Responsibilities

* Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA or CIMA).
* Comparable experience gained within a complex organization or accountancy practice.
* Diligent, attention to detail, willing to challenge.
* Solid MS Excel skills.
* Able to act on own initiative.
* Ability to manage own workload and prioritise effectively to meet tight reporting deadlines.
* Good at communicating at all levels, with finance and non finance teams.
* Ability to influence decision making process through clear presentation of financials
* Experience of owning and driving projects to improve the efficiency of Finance models / controls
