Logistics Team Leader

Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per year

Working as a Logistics Team Leader at a state-of-the-art facility in Coventry, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the Logistics Operatives to ensure the safe, accurate and timely movement of goods. The role will be Monday-Friday working a 06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00 rotating shift pattern.

Description

The Logistics Team Leader role in Coventry will involve:

• Leading and coordinating the Logistics staff..
• Acting as the first point of contact for internal customers and suppliers.
• The resolution of queries.
• Coordinate error resolution.
• Continuous improvement activities.
• Ensuring Health & Safety compliance.
• Training of the team to cover all aspects of Logistics.
• Promoting the engagement of a High Performance Culture.

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• Logistics Team Leader experience.
• Excellent knowledge of SAP WMS.
• Good understanding of housekeeping.
• 5S/6S knowledge.
• of mentoring, coaching and people management.
• Ability to effectively resolve conflict.
• Experience collating and processing data for reports.
• Excellence verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Previous involvement in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
