Linux Systems Administrator – Online Travel- £35-40k – London (Kingston)

Thanks to the growth and extensive project pipeline, the eCommerce division of this well established travel company are looking for a Linux Systems Administrator to join their already world class team. With a number of projects in the pipeline and a strong amount of BAU support work to get your teeth in to, their will be a wide variety of tech to get your hands dirty with.

This role will allow to get involved with a large Linux estate and a wide variety of technology. It will also allow you to work with a house hold name within the travel industry and give you the opportunity to grow your skills along side some of the best Engineer’s and Developers in the industry. The Linux Systems Administrator will also be working on their high profile, high transactional websites of which you will provide day to day support for.

Key Skills:

– Linux (RHEL, CentOS)
– Advanced debugging of web apps (PHP, Java)
– 2nd / 3rd line support LAMP, Nginx, Tomcat, Memcached, Varnish, SOLR
– Experience with AWS
– Puppet (advantageous)
– Networking (desirable)
