Systems Administrator – AWS Environment
An award winning leader in the IT transport industry is currently looking for a Systems administrator with a degree of AWS experience to join their dynamic & growing team in the heart of Oxfordshire. Having boasted continued growth year on year, this is a premier opportunity!
What will I be doing?
+ Perform analysis, acquisition, installation, maintenance and upgrade of computer hardware, operating systems and software utilities
+Manage the deployment, upgrades and maintenance of servers, hardware and software
+ Provide Sys Admin of hardware, operating systems, application software and overall solutions
+ Maintain server back-up systems and monitor system performance
What skills & experience will I need?
+ Strong sys admin experience on Linux, such as OS patching & OS hardening ect
+ Working experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Security groups, ELB’s & auto scaling ect
+ System & application administration based on Linux and large scale web based application deployments
+ Experience on databases such as MySQL
+ Experience on webservers such as Apache2 & NGINX
+ An understanding of Python
