Devops Engineer / System Administrator – Brighton – £40k

A leading marketing company in central Brighton are looking to bring in a Devops Engineer, Systems Administrator or Systems Engineer. With strong growth plans, the role will be of key importance and the System Administrator will be of critical importance to the Configuration Management, Build and Deployment of a leading SAAS marketing platform.

Working in central Brighton, the successful System Administrator / DevOps engineer will be working on an enterprise application within a company with a start-up feel, with the opportunity to implement cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic product team.

The key responsibilities will include:
● Managing the Source Control (Git) to facilitate ongoing development and maintenance
● Automating the build and testing deployment process
● Automating the production deployment process
● Automating the provisioning of Gathering requirements from customers and key stakeholders through user testing, feedback sessions, customer interviews and web analytics
● Developing Scripts based on Chef/Puppet

As the role includes the above, the ideal System Administrator / DevOps Engineer will have experience with the following:
● Experience of working on web development or software projects in areas such as email, e-commerce, analytics, mobile, social media, online advertising or other digital marketing channels
● Chef or Puppet
● Git source control
● Jenkins / Bamboo / Hudson
● Linux System Administration
● Capistrano

As always, any technical skills are just a guideline, and exceptions are always made for less experienced candidates with more enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!

Salary is around the £48,000mark with a large benefits package on top.
