Control Systems Sales Engineer
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a Global engineering business.
Duties:
To identify new control system markets and develop those markets.
Interpret client’s enquiry documents, prepare designs and draft formal control system tenders to tight customer specified deadlines.
To take lead on the technical and commercial aspects of control system enquiries retaining commercial responsibility through the cycle of the enquiry through to delivery of the equipment.
To build strong relationships with client Engineering and Procurement teams offering and delivering technical presentations as needed.
Undertake ongoing technical and commercial clarifications, requested by the client, throughout the life of the tenders attending clarification meetings as necessary both locally and internationally.
Obtain sub-vendor compliant quotations for bought out items.
Review technical and commercial content of Purchase Orders.
Prepare accurate contract handover files for the Project Managers.
Monthly reporting on targeted projects and future projects.
Regular travel will be required every month to close both technical and commercial bids in front of the client to secure business.
The successful candidate will have:
An HND in electrical engineering
Experience in a similar sales role
Good communication skills – both written and verbal
A technical aptitude
Computer literate
Able to work under pressure meeting set targets and submission dates.
