Legionella Risk Assessor – South East

Our client is part of a multi-disciplinary organization and they provide various professional services such like asbestos, legionella and occupational hygiene to clients.

Due to business commitment, they are now looking to employ an experienced, competent and reliable Legionella Risk Assessor to work for them in the South East and will include applications from Kent and the surrounding areas. This role will entail covering a mixed bag of contracts, including commercial and public sectors.

The post holder will ideally have attended an approved Risk Assessment course – City & Guilds and or any other relevant qualification and ideally will come from a Legionella Consultancy background.

Will be fully conversant with the water treatment/water hygiene/legionella industry.

Will have varied practical experience, carrying out L8 risk assessments within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.

Must have a good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and prior experience of carrying out L8 risk assessments

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.

Compiling schematic drawings, as well as producing final documents for clients/customers.

Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through maintenance regimes, quotations, and carrying out such works based on the risk assessment.

Carrying out monthly temperature testing and water sampling.

Carrying out survey of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.

Producing comprehensive reports and attending meetings with clients to discuss findings of reports.

Building and maintaining good working relationship with clients.

Attributes:

The successful candidate will be versatile, physically fit and flexible and have good work ethic and at the same time have the ability to work effectively.

Will have good working knowledge of commercial water systems, supplies and water regulations governing these.

Will have the good communication skills, both written and verbal and have the ability to use the Microsoft Office Package.
