Legionella Risk Assessor

An expanding water treatment/water hygiene company is currently seeking to recruit a Legonella Risk Assessor to cover a mixed bag of contracts in and around the West Midlands area.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant will ideally have attended an approved Risk Assessment course – City & Guilds.
Must have previous working knowledge of ACOP L8 and prior experience of carrying out L8 risk assessments within the water treatment/water hygiene industry – ideally from a Legionella Consultancy background.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.

Compiling schematic drawings, as well as producing final documents f or clients/customers.

Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through maintenance regimes, quotations, and carrying out such works based on the risk assessment.

Carrying out monthly temperature testing and water sampling.

Carrying out survey of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.

Collating and producing comprehensive reports and attending meetings with clients to discuss findings of reports.

Dealing with clients in a professional manner.

The successful candidate will be flexible, have good work ethic and at the same time have the ability to work effectively.

Will have good working knowledge of commercial water systems, supplies and water regulations governing these.

Will have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
