Legionella Risk Assessor – South East

Our client is a part of a multi-disciplinary company, providing high quality services in the fields of asbestos, water and occupational hygiene to a large and mixed portfolio of clients.

Due to acquiring new contracts in the South East, they are looking for a good calibre and versatile Legionella Risk Assessor based in London, Surrey, Middlesex, Bedfordshire and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

Ideally, the applicant must hold the City & Guilds or WMS certificate or relevant qualification.

Must have the right level of legionella risk assessment experience that is carrying out legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP – L8 risk accreditation within the water treatment/water hygiene field.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments to ACOP L8.

Compiling schematic drawings, as well as final documents – preparing and producing reports for clients within specified time frame.

Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measure through quotations and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments.

Organizing and prioritizing work and liaising with other team members to ensure all work is carried within time scale.

Liaising with the clients and dealing with any issues effectively.

Requirements/Attributes:

Ideally, the post-holder will be flexible, have good attitude and have the ability to work independently and carry out the work effectively and within time scale.

Will have good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Will be fully conversant with the Health & Safety legislation with regards to water services, etc.

Must be prepared to travel.
