A leading Health Care Firm based in Leeds is seeking a learning and development Lead to join their team for 11 months with a salary of £40,800 – £44,400on offer. This role comes with a great perks package and the opportunity to work with an excellent medical firm.
What does the role entail?
Your role as the leader of Learning and Development is to bridge existing training to the needed outcomes whilst leading a range of projects to enable staff to be as effective as possible. This would include supporting and coaching managers, managing trainers and working with senior heads of business both internally and externally to identify long-term gaps within training and map out key learning strategies and retention opportunities. This is a people-person role with a core focus on communication and strategy. You will manage the onboarding processes whilst advocating for continuous development supplemented with internal research and data where staff need support. This role will involve all sites across the UK from South London to Scotland. As the lead L&D, you will report to the Head of Workforce Planning and have support from a trainer to ensure company objectives and workforce KPIs are met whilst also promoting learning and development.
What skills will you have?
The ideal candidate for this L&D Lead role will be able to perform the mentioned duties with ease. It is essential to have a background in learning and development. An understanding of the Medical sector is a benefit but not a requirement. It would also be desirable having experience in development pathways. Above all, you will be hard-working, flexible, and trustworthy, and can step in to support the team.
