About You:

Are you a high calibre Maintenance Engineer from a Food / FMCG background, ideally a time-served apprentice with evidence of further ongoing professional development and career progression?
Do you have supervisory experience within a Food Manufacturing Environment?
Do you have experience of maximizing resources within a planned maintenance management system?
Do you have experience of controlling a financial budget within a maintenance department?
Do you have experience of creating and maintaining a continuous improvement environment?
Do you have experience of ensuring compliance with Health & Safety Policy and Good Manufacturing Practices?

The Engineering Role:

This is a standalone Engineering Supervisory Role, Reporting to the Plant Operations Manager and looking after a team of 3 engineers.
Days based role, Monday to Friday.
50% hand on, 25% management, 25% planning.
You will be working to ensure the smooth continual operation of production at the plant.
You will be responsible for supervising the team, ensuring that they have the required skills to meet requirements and to keep standards within the operation at the required standard.
Working closely with Production Teams, you will work to establish the root cause of any failures and instigating measures to alleviate repeat breakdowns.
You will proactively look for new, improved ways of working in order to minimise future breakdowns and optimise plant efficiency.
