Laboratory Technician

Our client is part of a global 1st tier automotive supplier with 60,000 in almost 30 countries.

They are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to work on a long term basis at the site in Cheshire.

•Effectively test materials and component parts

•Testing to required deadlines to meet production needs

•Adherence to systems and procedures

•Completing work in a detailed and accurate manner and using correct documentation

•Actively participating in continuous improvement activities

•Analysis of test data / results, preparation of reports with conclusions and recommendations

•Identification of trends and concerns and taking proactive actions

•Use of appropriate techniques for review / analysis

•Reporting concerns to quality manager / senior technician in an effective manner and presenting counter measures

•Aiding to improve existing / new test methods to improve laboratory efficiency

•Ensuring test methods are appropriate to detect any product failure modes

Working on a weekly rota of 6-2 and 2-10, Monday to Friday, this is a long term, ongoing assignment.
