Laboratory Technician – Immediate start
Newmarket, Suffolk
£26,000 per year Temporary to permanent
Our client is an environmental testing laboratory based in Newmarket, Suffolk who is currently looking for a temporary laboratory technician to join their well-established team.
For this position you should have a keen eye for detail and be highly organised. The role will require manual lifting and disposal of waste in line with the training provided by our client.
The role will then progress to include drying and grinding samples, cleaning of chemical equipment, maintenance, storage and labelling of stocks and ensuring that the laboratory is clean and clear at all times. Your role is important in ensuring that data is produced accurately and in a timely manner in line with the clients expectations.
Full training will be given and this role is on a temporary basis with potential to go permanent following a weekly review.
