Laboratory Technician

We wish to recruit a Laboratory Technician with sound practical experience. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the ability to analyse and trend data, working to and writing SOPs/ work instructions, and working to Quality Control procedures, methods and processes. A self-motivated individual is required as this role will involve performing testing of nucleic and immunodiagnostic raw materials, reagents, and products, including collation and analysis of data.

Requirements

BSc in relevant biological science
Previous Experience as a laboratory technician
Commercial laboratory experience
Laboratory based, scientific background
Previous experience of working to Quality Control procedures
Knowledge of molecular biology techniques not essential, but highly desired.

Key Responsibilities

To analyse and trend data associated with product release
Perform testing required to approve or reject incoming raw materials
Review and approve manufacturing documentation as part of a product release process
Perform testing required to evaluate in-process bulk reagents
