Laboratory Analyst and Research Technician

Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year

Laboratory Analyst and Research Technician; Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire; £25-30K depending on experience.

A leading manufacturer and merchant of a range of specialist additives that are used widely within the ceramics, coatings, paint and plastics industries is recruiting. This organisation is today one of the world leaders within it’s sector and manufactures in 2 continents; they are looking to strengthen their Laboratory team in Stoke on Trent, with the appointment of a Laboratory Analyst & Research Technician.

This is a varied support role which will involve detailed responsibilities in the 3 main areas of;

* Competently performing day to day analysis of Raw Materials, part-manufactured and specialist finished products.

* Providing operational support to Quality Manager across a variety of Quality related requirements.

* Carrying out research on current and forthcoming Regulatory requirements.

Applicants should have experience in a similar Laboratory or Scientific role. Those applying must have an A-level in Chemistry (or other Science subject) as a minimum qualification requirement. Applicants should also enjoy analysis / research and have the ability to work effectively in a team. Good skills with MS Office are also required.
