Junior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Administrator

I have a vacancy for a Junior/Trainee QS starting immediately in Plymouth.

Working with the QS and direct labour resources the candidate will assist with multiple tasks on Decent homes projects and new build residential and fit out. This is a permanent opportunity and would be well suited for someone looking to take the initial step into the construction industry.

The main duties to include the assistance with estimating including tender input, planning, Health & Safety and have a strong financial awareness. Must be able to assist in the prompt delivery of projects to time, cost and quality.

The post holder will be required to have a good level of clerical qualifications in order to manage their own workload effectively. Must be computer literate and have organisational and interpersonal skills; Must have an extensive knowledge, intermediate level, of Microsoft Office Excel/ Words and Projects with an understanding of measurements, specifications, contracts and instructions. Must have the ability to carry out valuations and costings.

A qualification in QS is essential along with some working experience.
