Graduate / Junior Quantity Surveyor
Basildon, Essex or Taunton, Somerset
£25k – £40k + Bens (DOE)

A utility contractor with annual turnover of c£7m operating throughout the UK. The company complete a number of fast paced small projects ranging from small blockages to 1km of ductwork predominately for the telecoms sector. The company have heavily invested back within the business and continue to follow and structured growth plan to expand their operations further afield. The company have an excellent reputation for the internal training and develop programmes created for their employees and actively encourage development from within.
Graduate/Junior Quantity Surveyor
An enthusiastic and motivated Quantity Surveyor is now sought to join the team to develop their skills and progress to take financial control of projects allocated. You will work on projects from initial tender stage through to final account and be office based with frequent visits to clients throughout the London and Home Counties areas.
Requirements
- Ideally be HNC/Degree in Quantity Surveying – Advantageous but not essential
- Have 1-3 year plus UK experience within Quantity Surveying unless a Graduate
- Have excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Well-presented and polished client facing skills
- Able to work well alone or within a team
- Computer literate, motivated with a strong desire to achieve
- A full UK Driver Licence
- A stable work history.
- Highly motivated and keen to progress
