Job Title – Junior Development Technologist

Salary – Up to £26,000(plus sponsorship through Higher Education for the right candidate)

Location – Holbeach, Lincolnshire

PMP are currently recruiting a Junior Process Technologist for our Lincolnshire based client in the food industry, to support their New Product Development Team in their efforts to provide efficient, thorough and accurate new product launches to a predetermined timescale.

Key responsibilities are listed below:

* Undertake new product trials in-line with customer requirements.
* To assist with the assessment and recording of key information relating to new raw materials to be used in trials.
* Support the processing of components and materials through the factory, with appropriate information collated, documented and authorisations obtained.
* Ensure that processed materials are correct and meet the required standards.
* Maintain a high level of housekeeping through out the factory and non factory areas.
* Ensure all paperwork and processes are continuously reviewed and improvements to efficiency or customer service are highlighted and implemented.
* Support with the implementation of all new product launch paperwork ensuring new processes and components have met company standards.
* Support with the training and implementation of new processes before and during new product launches.

The successful candidate will have experience in a food manufacturing environment, ideally within the production of snacks or ready meals, in a role needing the handling of raw materials and with a focus on quality.
