Job Profile
As Design Engineer you will be required to join an experienced team and will work within an ISO9001 environment. You will carry out all designs for the companies mechanical products.
Duties
• Produce designs for manufacture using CAD systems NX, Inventor and AutoCAD
• Design assemblies
• Produce 3D part models and assemblies and detailed 2D component and assembly drawings
• Provide calculations for performance and safety considerations including FEA and FMEA analysis
• Manage new product development as well as existing products and individual one-off projects
• Production of precise layouts, design improvements of existing components and part rationalisation
• Produce detailed material specifications, product manuals and other technical documentation
• Produce and amend Bills of Material.
Key Skills & Experience
• CAD system experience NX, Inventor and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of all manufacturing methods and techniques
• Good knowledge of stress calculations
Hours & Benefits
• 08.00 – 16.30, Monday to Friday
• Excellent package
