Junior Commercial Manager

Salary: £31,200 – £36,000 per year

Unique opportunity for a Junior Commercial Manager / Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist kitchen contractor in London.

Working alongside the Head of Commercial, the Junior Commercial Manager will assist with the key day-to-day operational tasks such as placing purchase orders, liaising with operations team, sending tender invites and following up on subcontractors and suppliers for quotes.

As the post holder grows with the business, the Junior Commercial Manager will be expected to take on more responsibility in the creation and updating of budgets, price and payment term negotiations and relationship management, contract reviews and working closer with the head of construction and head of projects to deliver outstanding kitchen schemes.

Junior Commercial Manager – some of your duties:

• Ensure items & services are procured in good time in line with the programme
• Ensure best rates are obtained from a range of suitable suppliers / subcontractors
• Produce reliable and accurate budgets
• Maintain and build upon existing relationships with current partners
• Grow the company’s network of contacts

Junior Commercial Manager – qualifications, skills and duties:

• Ideally candidates will be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management or a related discipline or have at least 6 months experience in a surveying / commercial management role / assistant role
• Strong IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Exceptional organisation and communication skills
• Reliable and punctual and a firstclass attitude
