This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for an IT enthusiast to join an innovative and dynamic telecommunications company, where the successful candidate will become an integral part of the company’s future success and expansion plans. The company has grown from strength to strength since their launch, and as such have been identified as a market leader within their specialism. Based from their high-spec headquarters in a prime, city centre location, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly experienced Technical support team where you will provide exemplary customer service and support to customers, confidently assisting and resolving their technical queries.

Your duties will include:

– Taking incoming calls from B2B and B2C customers/clients.
– Handling a range of queries, from individual domestic customers to large scale organisations.
– Providing the utmost in customer service, maintaining a positive and accommodating approach.
– Resolving Broadband faults, hardware issues and any other issues that arise.
– Configuring phones, routes and other hardware.
– Set up of PBX Configuration and IP Addressing.
– Working on a rota basis, covering out of hours support when needed.
– Upholding the company’s ethos and service at all times.
– Working on initiative – progressing and handling further complex queries.

You will:

– Display a strong desire to pursue a career within IT.
– Possess an academic qualification in IT or related subject (desirable but not essential).
– Have previous experience within an IT support role (desirable but not essential).
– Be a confident communicator with the ability to provide exemplary customer service.
– Have the ability to work in a high pressured environment.
– Be patient and persistent, able to pacify a situation and find the most relevant resolution.
– Able to prioritise and balance workload effectively and efficiently.
-Be highly committed to self development and continuous improvement.

A truly exciting prospect for individuals who demonstrate a passion for all things IT; full training and development opportunities will be presented. Permanent position working Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm, starting salary is £26,000with an increase to £16000 after a successful 3 month probation period, plus further progression opportunities offered as the company grows.
