Role: European Technical Sales and Support Representative
Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 (+ healthcare, Pension and additional benefits)
Location: Cambridge
Contract: Permanent

European Technical Sales and Support Representative required for a leading developer of digital document and printing software providing solutions to the graphic arts, commercial print and digital print markets.

Due to an expansion of its already successful US operation they are seeking a Technical Sales and Support Representative. The function of the role will be to provide sales and technical support to end users and resellers for their Software and related products, the role is based in our Cambridge. However, domestic and international travel will be required from time to time.

As European Technical Sales and Support Representative you will be responsible for providing sales technical support to reseller sales personnel along with providing assistance and hands-on guidance for installation, training and support of their products to end users and reseller’s technical personnel.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications required:

– Excellent customer relations skills, comfortable interfacing with customers in both sales and support situations.
– Highly competent in technical problem solving and providing customer support via web support, telephone, e-mail, and in person at customer sites.
– Experience with pre-press software and hardware, either from employment in the pre-press department of a printing company, or working for a printing industry supplier in a technical position providing support to printing companies.
– Knowledge of colour separation, screening and printing is essential.
– Hands-on experience with desktop publishing software applications such as Adobe Creative Suite would be helpful.
– Familiar with a variety of hardware used in pre-press such as CTP, CTS, imagesetters, and digital proofers.
– Thorough working knowledge of Macintosh and Windows PC’s and their operating systems.
– Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
– 2 year degree or equivalent experience.
– Passport valid for international travel.
