Apprentice Technical Training Developer – Automotive

Job purpose:

I am looking for an experienced Automotive Technical Trainer to join a fast past company that specialise in motorsport and luxury vehicles. You will be required to design and produce apprentice classroom based technical learning to the very highest standards. The end product will be delivered to our key customer; a manufacturer of luxury premium brand vehicles.
Your ideas and designs will meet a standard that encourages stimulative learning to develop dealership apprentice technicians globally.

Duties/responsibilities:
* Create draft graphics/animations to support your design to commission with technical illustrators
* Create storyboard content for eLearning supporting assets to commission with the eLearning development team
* Develop stimulating classroom & practical activities to support learning
* Produce effective learning material to support learning
* Deliver the end product to?Train the Trainer?
* Work under your own initiative with minimal supervision
Experience and Qualifications
You will possibly be a Technical Apprentice Trainer currently involved in course design looking to progress into full time development. You will join and work within an established development team environment but will also be expected to work independently; have a very keen eye for detail and quality is essential to this role.

To be successful in this role you must have:
* At least 5 years? experience in technical training (apprentice programmes an advantage)
* A passion for learning and coaching others
* Knowledge of NVQ awarding body processes and ideally, global equivalents
* Excellent training design, delivery and facilitation skills
* The ability to prioritise your own workload and deliver to agreed deadlines
* A working knowledge of MS office programmes
* Strong IT skills in general
