IT Support Engineer (Schools / Education)
1 Month Contract
South Yorkshire
100-120/day
IT Support Engineer needed for a 1 month initial contract to be based in South Yorkshire. Candidates must offer prior experience of working within Schools, Colleges and Educational organisations. Candidates should also be willing to undergo a CRB/DBS check (Criminal Records / Disclosure and Barring Service). The contract is to start by Friday 29th August.
Key experience and day-to-day duties are as follows:
– Providing on-site IT desktop support to a school site.
– Candidates must offer proven experience of providing IT support for Schools, Colleges, Academies and Educational establishments.
– Diagnosing and resolving IT incidents to agreed timescales and SLAs/KPIs.
– Fault-finding and resolving IT issues to 2nd line level and escalating any IT issues that can`t be resolved directly.
– Supporting a diverse technical environment that includes: Windows Server 2003/2008, Active Directory (AD), MS Exchange Server (2003/2007/2010), Windows 7, Desktop PCs, basic networking, LAN/WAN, wireless/Wi-Fi, Exchange Server, SIMS, printers, peripherals, etc.
– Excellent customer-facing skills: professional, helpful and approachable.
