Duration – Permanent Position
Hours of Work – Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 1.30pm.
Start Date – ASAP
Salary – £36,000per annum

Working for a leading design and manufacture of high performance heat exchange units and cooling modules. The company is a prominent global supplier to OEMs in the off highway construction, agricultural and engine power markets. The company has full research, design and development facilities on site to drive its product development.

We are looking for a professional, quick learning, enthusiastic and self-motivated Infrastructure Support Analyst to join a small but dynamic team and must also have the ability to deal with users at all levels and work under pressure. The successful candidate will be technically minded, have strong experience configuring and supporting Windows based environments and networks and is a team player.

The Role

• To provide quality IT infrastructure support to clients both directly in person or remotely and also indirectly through the Help Desk.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line infrastructure support (network, servers, storage, security, email, etc.) within agreed SLAs.
• Configuration and installation of servers, software and networks.
• Maintenance & creation of required technical documentation including policy & procedures.
• Managing small to medium size projects.
• Involvement in procurement and scoping of server and network technologies.
• Train other IT staff where necessary.
• Monitor the infrastructure, taking into account disaster recovery and business continuity operations into consideration, reporting issues to the IT manager as appropriate.
• Experience of configuring and maintaining MS Windows XP, 7, 2003 and 2008 R2 Server.
• Ability to configure and maintain Active-Directory & Group Policy.
• Experience in managing VMware virtualised servers and ESXi environment.
• NET App SAN with the ability to work with and configure RAID based systems including disk arrays.
• Manage and configure server and client based applications.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
