Ict End User Computing Assistant

This organisation is looking for an ICT End User Computing Assistant for 3 months initially to Assist with the build, configuration and support of the ICT End User Computing Services to meet the needs of the Organisation – This is a new role and it has been re advertised.

Main areas of work:

* Assist with delivery, maintenance and support of software/hardware
* Ensure safe storage and as required disposal of ICT assets maintaining inventories
* Resolve performance issues and faults
* Contribute towards meeting the service’s objectives, targets and quality standards

Key types of activity:

* Help deliver and support End User Computing related hardware and software
* Receive and catalogue new ICT stock items and arrange secure storage, issue and disposal
* Assist with tests of hardware/software using test procedures and diagnostic tools
* Resolve issues relating to End User Computing related performance and incidents
* Take personal responsibility for own health and safety to ensure a safe working environment

This is an entry level technical role within the ICT End User Computing section which deals with all end user types of devices including PC’s, laptops, Thin Client devices, tablets, smartphones and many others

It would be an advantage if you had carried you a similar role previously
