Front End Developer / Graphic Designer

Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year

Location: London or Remote (or flexible home/office)

A multi-award winning business is looking for a highly motivated self-starter, to join their team as a Front End Developer (Junior) and Designer. We are looking for someone with a background in graphic design who is looking to cultivate their web development skills.

Essential skills:

• You should know how to code and carry out the tasks beyond software development to ensure a project is successful.

• You will require an eye for design, expertise using Illustrator and Photoshop, producing marketing design collateral and maintaining the brand throughout.
• Ability to create wireframes and UI designs through collaboration with the Product team and stakeholders.
• You need to know HTML5, CSS3, RWD, WordPress
• Have some experience with JavaScript, and be at least familiar with the basics of Vue.js or a similar framework.

Great skills to have/learning opportunities:

An aptitude for new tools/frameworks and innovative problem-solving prowess will certainly help. Technically knowing about RESTful APIs will score you big points, as well as knowing about version control (specifically GIT) and deployments tools/processes are also useful, but by no means essentials.
