Salary: to £44,400 + £2500 car allowance

This is a great opportunity to join my clients growing HR team in a very service focused, commercial HRBP role with a real focus on recruitment. PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST DRIVE FOR THIS ROLE AS ITS REGIONALLY BASED.

This is a hybrid role – part HR Advisor/HR Business Partner with a focus on project and part recruitment lead. The business unit have huge plans for growth and another potential new office in Dorchester.

The succesful candidate will demonstrate a general HR BP career from within a commercial setting who has min level CIPD 5 qualification with strong evidence of recruitment and ER experience.

It is a pre-requisite of the role that you drive and are a car owner as (when the world returns to normal) you will be visiting various sites across the Somerset/Dorset areaa to provide HR and ER advice to Operational Managers.

This is a very hands on role that will see you rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in as well as have the right mindset to advise in a HRBP capacity looking at the bigger piece and advising accordingly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Working directly with the HR and Learning & Development management team, Operations Managers (and Site Managers) for designated area / region to achieve business and departmental objectives and goals

* Working closely with the Recruitment Advisors and taking a shared ownership of resourcing and activities

1. Planning recruitment campaigns

2. Formulating job descriptions and job specifications

3. Assisting with the recruitment and screening of potential candidates

4. Assisting with selection interviews.

5. Utilising and attending career fairs and other recruitment events.

* Coaching and guiding managers and providing subject matter expertise; ER, HR and policy interpretation

* Managing a multi case ER caseload; Disciplinary, Grievance, Absence, Capability, Consultations etc

* Acting as a change agent to support and facilitate desired change

* Playing a proactive and value added role in supporting & delivery key projects

* Building and maintaining relationships with schools, colleges and universities and attending career fairs

* Working with HR management and Administrator(s) on the development and improvement of processes and policies

* Responsible for the implementation and consistent application of employment policies and people process across the service

Specification:-

* CIPD qualified, MCIPD (or equivalent / in final studies)

* Strong recruitment experience

* Commercial focus

* Excellent communicator; verbal and written

* Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships

* Tactful and diplomatic, confidential

* Strong conflict resolution skills

* Ability to manage variety and volume; good attention to detail

* Ability to coach managers

* Ability to work on own and as part of a team.

* Hands on

* Driven and focused on delivery

* Has pace and able to deal with volume

* Ability to work under pressure.

* Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite / HRIS systems
