Health & Safety Advisor – Construction / General H&s

Health & Safety Advisor – Construction/General H&S – Permanent – London & South East – circa £35-£40k + car allowance after probation

We are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor for our Client, a successful, well-established, expanding and highly professional Health & Safety Consultancy based in Surrey who specialise in Construction. This will involve working with Clients in a variety of industries, in a Consultancy capacity. You will be providing health and safety guidance and advice, carrying out Health & Safety audits, reviewing policies, writing risk assessments and other general Health & Safety duties.

The successful candidate will be NEBOSH Certificate (or equiv) qualified as a minimum. It would be advantageous to have the NEBOSH Diploma (or equiv) and to be a Registered Member of APS (RMaPS). You will have experience of Health & Safety in the Construction industry and in-depth knowledge of the UK Health & Safety legislation and CDM regulations. This position could suit an experienced Construction Site Manager with experience in Health & Safety and a passion for the subject.

You will have excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A good commercial awareness is necessary for this role as is the ability to work under pressure in a fast moving environment. A professional attitude is essential with a customer focused, can do approach.

To apply for this role you must have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle. The role will involve visiting various sites, predominantly around London and the South East but you must live in commutable distance to the office in Surrey.
