Skillection are recruiting for their transport/logistics client based in Rotherham assisting them with finding a fantastic NEBOSH Certificated Health & Safety Officer for a project due to last approx. 3 months,.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience of day-to-day management of Health and Safety in a transport/logistics environment

• Experience of managing H&S in a Workshop would be advantageous

• Ability to conduct, review and re-write risk assessments, CoSHH assessments and Safe Systems of Work

• Identify risk, and be able to implement control measures

• Promote a safety culture within the workforce

• Present documentation to the highest of standards, with clarity, brevity, and accuracy

• Excellent IT and presentation skills

• Driven to achieve results, and the ability to work to deadlines

• Work independently and on own initiative

Urgent requirement! 3 month interim contract which could go on for longer.
