Health and Safety Coordinator

Salary: £24 per hour

Health and Safety Coordinator, Health and Safety Advisor, Health and Safety Assistant (6 month contract)

COMMUTABLE FROM: Hull, Beverley, Cottingham, Market Weighton, Hessle, North Ferriby, Driffield, Bridlington, Hedon, Howden, Gilberdyke, South Cave, Bishop Burton and Brough

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

* £20 000 – £25 000

COMPANY INFORMATION: Our client is a well-established local manufacturer. They currently do a mix of own labelled products and contract manufacturing for major blue chip clients around the world.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

* NEBOSH qualification or working towards NEBOSH qualification

* Excellent communication skills

* Ability to write Risk Assessments

* Manufacturing Experience

* Good organisational skills

* Control H&S documentation

ROLE INFORMATION: The successful applicant will be responsible for writing Risk Assessments for manufacturing processes within a fast paced manufacturing environment. This will include every aspect of the process from Raw Material coming in, to finish product going out the door. Ideally the successful candidate will have had experience within a manufacturing environment.

Other duties will include liaising with line managers to ensure manufacturing H&S process are adhered to and implemented correctly.
